Does every area have the same availability?
No. ZIP.GY serves all 10 regions, but how much is running depends on the community, the service and the time of day — Georgetown has far more drivers at 8pm than a small interior village does. Use the availability checker above for your own area, and the app always shows what's actually available before you confirm.
What happens if no driver is nearby?
You'll be told straight away rather than left waiting, and our team is alerted so we can find you a driver or suggest a better time. You are never charged for a ride nobody accepted.
Do you deliver outside Georgetown?
Yes. Food, grocery and package delivery run anywhere we have partner businesses and drivers, including Berbice, Linden, Essequibo and the West Coast.
Can I book a long-distance trip between regions?
Yes — enter both addresses as normal and the fare is calculated for the full distance. For long trips we recommend scheduling in advance so a driver is confirmed.
